This is the privacy policy of UpMeet.co LLC ("we", "us"), which provides Signaige. It covers the Signaige digital signage service, the SignAIge emergency alerts program, Signaige player software, and this website, signaige.ai (together, the "Services"). It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. EVERYSCREEN Studio and everyscreen.ai, also provided by UpMeet.co LLC, are covered by the EVERYSCREEN Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

Account information. When an organization uses Signaige, we keep the name, email address and sign-in details of each user, and the organization's settings. If a user signs in with Google or Microsoft, we receive the email address that account confirms, to match it to the existing user.
Content. The slides, media, data feeds, schedules and other content that users create, upload or connect.
Alert contact information. For the emergency alerts program: the name, mobile number and (optionally) email address a person gives when signing up or that their organization adds, which alert groups they belong to, their consent and confirmation (including the time of their YES reply), their opt-out status, and a record of each alert message sent to them and whether it was delivered.
Player and device information. For screens running Signaige players, including browser players: device identifiers, status, software version, network address, screen size, time zone, browser details, and a record of what was played (proof of play).
Technical information. Like most websites, our servers log requests (such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) to keep the Services running and secure. Signed-in users receive a session cookie needed to stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

How we use information

To provide, maintain and secure the Services, and to support our customers.
To deliver emergency and safety alerts that a person signed up for, and to handle their STOP, START and HELP replies.
To communicate with users about their account and the Services.
To comply with law and to protect the rights and safety of people and of the Services.

Mobile numbers and text messaging

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected for the emergency alerts program is used only to deliver the alerts the person signed up for and to manage their subscription (confirmation, opt-out and help).

To deliver text messages we use a messaging provider, which processes the mobile number and message content only to carry the message to the recipient's wireless carrier. The organization that runs the alert sign-up page can see its own contacts so that it can manage its alert list; it may not use them for marketing through Signaige.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only:

with service providers who host, store, process or deliver data for us (for example cloud hosting, database, email and text-message delivery, and AI services used to generate content a user asked for), under obligations to use it only to provide their service to us;
with the organization a user or alert subscriber belongs to or signed up with, for that organization's own account;
when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of people or of the Services;
as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy's commitments, including the commitment above about mobile numbers and SMS consent.

Content and organizations

Organizations control the content, players and contact lists in their own accounts. If you have questions about how an organization uses information in its Signaige account, you may also contact that organization directly.

Retention

Account information and content are kept while the account is active and deleted after the account is closed, except where we must keep something longer to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Alert contact information is kept while the person remains subscribed. After a person replies STOP, we keep their number and opt-out record so that we do not text them again unless they reply START. Records of messages sent are kept for up to 24 months for delivery, security and compliance purposes and then deleted.
Individual proof-of-play records are kept for 90 days; totals grouped by slide, player, day or hour are kept while the account is active.
Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

Your choices and how to delete your information

Stop text alerts: reply STOP to any alert text.
Delete your alert contact information: email us at bhwatts@me.com from any address, or write to us, giving the mobile number to remove and the organization you signed up with. We will delete the contact record and confirm. (If you want to be sure you are not texted again, we may keep only the number with its opt-out flag.) You can also ask the organization you signed up with to remove you.
Account users: you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to close your account, by contacting us or your organization's administrator.

We will respond to requests within a reasonable time and may need to verify the request first.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls and separate databases for each organization. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

The Services are intended for organizations and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
