SMS Terms

These are the terms of the SignAIge emergency alerts text message program, provided by UpMeet.co LLC ("we", "us").
The program
- Program name: SignAIge emergency alerts.
- What you receive: emergency and safety alerts (for example lockdown, shelter in place, evacuation, fire, severe weather and the all clear) and messages about your subscription (confirmation, opt-out and help replies). No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this program.
- Who sends them: alerts are sent on behalf of the organization you signed up with (for example your school or employer), using Signaige. The organization decides when to send an alert and what it says.
- How you join: on the organization's sign-up page (its Signaige address followed by /alerts/join), by entering your mobile number, ticking the consent box and then replying YES to our confirmation text. See how emergency alerts work.
Message frequency and cost
- Message frequency varies with emergencies. You may receive no messages for long periods, and several during an emergency.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan with your carrier.
Opting out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages.
- Reply START to rejoin after opting out.

Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of text messages depends on wireless carriers and networks and is not guaranteed. The program adds to, and does not replace, 911, official emergency services and public warning systems; in an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Your number
Keep us informed if you change or give up your mobile number: reply STOP from that number first, or contact us. You confirm that you are the account holder of the mobile number you sign up, or have the account holder's permission.
Privacy
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, and are used only to deliver the alerts you signed up for. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted.
Changes
We may change these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to receive messages after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
